I’m proud to work with all Manitobans committed to build a better province in which to live, work and raise a family.
During the past decade, our caucus and cabinet have worked hard to build a vibrant economy, to improve our health care system, to ensure we have a strong public education system, that quality post-secondary education and training remain affordable and that we help make our communities safer.
Our record of success extends beyond the past decade. Gary Doer, Howard Pawley and Ed Schreyer have set a strong standard for leadership during the past 40 years. I am excited about the opportunity to succeed these outstanding stewards of our party and province.
We have a talented and vibrant team of MLAs that represent the many faces and regions of Manitoba as does our cabinet.
Our past and future success is only possible with you.
It starts with your participation. Taking the step to get involved with the party for the first time or to keep involved ensures we remain stronger than ever. No contribution is to small in helping build and maintain the type of party that continues to represent the entire province.
Manitobans are looking to the NDP to govern with warm hearts and cool minds, especially during these times of economic uncertainty. They are counting on us to help make their lives better.
It is a challenge we all embrace and cherish as we work to remain worthy of that trust.
