Friends,

55 years ago the Manitoba NDP was formally constituted and outgoing CCF leader Russell Paulley became our first leader. The landmark event paved the way for the first NDP government in 1969, and has resulted in over 30 years of strong, progressive NDP government in our province.

We've accomplished so much for Manitoba in our proud history. Why not celebrate the Manitoba NDP's 55th by joining New Democrats at Paint the Town Orange next Friday at the Ukrainian Labour Temple?

NDP Leader's Levee

Friends,

This fall is an important time for our party. Manitobans have assigned us an important role as the Official Opposition, and there is no shortage of work to be done to hold Brian Pallister's Conservatives to account.

In addition, we are preparing for the incredibly important task of selecting our next leader. Robust engagement with members is essential for strengthening local constituencies and our grassroots activism ahead of Convention 2017.
